RYDER, V. Deo, 95, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, with his wife of 71 years, Gerry, by his side. Deo was born in Dayton on May 29, 1913, and graduated from Stivers High School in 1931. He retired from the Frigidaire division of General Motors. He will be missed greatly by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Geraldine; daughters, Jill Moore and husband Paul of Niceville, FL, and Debbie Bunting of Charlotte, NC. His son Jack preceded him in death. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; his sisters, Rosemary Fine and Betty Armstrong; nieces, nephews. Deo loved to play golf, eat ice cream, and play cards, but most of all he will be remembered for his great love of family. No one could have been more loved by his family. Private graveside services will be held at 10:30AM Saturday, June 14, 2008 at David's Cemetery. The family wishes to thank St. Leonards and the nurses for the loving care of Deo.
