Urban O. Webb

WEBB, Urban Oliver, age 89, of Moraine, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Pinnacle Pointe Nursing Center. He was born December 7, 1919, to Herman A. Webb and Vera Lucille (Spencer) Webb in Clinton County, Ohio. He served in the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He resided in Florida for a number of years before returning to Ohio in 1998. He is preceded in death by his parents, his 2nd wife Mary (Hutchinson) Webb, by his brother Marvin Eugene Webb and by great-grandson Adam Murphy. Urban is survived by his daughters Kerma Jean Webb (Dayton), Sherrill Ann Webb (West Carrollton) and Patricia Susan (Daniel) Murphy (Moraine); his grandchildren Ann Bidwell, Amber Stout, Elizabeth Calhoun, Ronald Dunwoodie Jr., Melissa (Joe) Hake, Joshua (Lewanna) Dunwoodie, Rachel (Joe) Wendling, Tiffany (Jim) Wendling, and Amber (Billy) Ebbing; his great-grandchildren Crystal Bidwell, Megan Calhoun, Jacob Calhoun, Kara (Dustin) Holler, Amanda Hake, Alicia Hake, Katelyn Hake, Duncan Wendling, Brenna Wendling, Dalton Wendling; great-great grandchildren Grace Hay and Koltlynn Holler and nephew Larry Webb of Florida. A private service following cremation will be at Dayton National Cemetery with burial to follow. The family thanks Newcomer Funeral Home for arrangements.
