Una Johnson

JOHNSON, Una Mae, age 89, of Dayton, departed this life Tues., March 8, 2005 at Kettering Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Knox Co., KY on April 29, 1915. Una was the daughter of Robert & Valie Valentine who preceded her in death, and also her husband, the late Lewis Johnson. She lived her life always wanting to give to others. Una was a professional seamstress and worked for the former Rike's Department Store, Dayton, and received high praises for her abilities. She is survived by her loving and faithful son Paul Patterson, Jr. & wife Sandra of Centerville, another son Clarence Robert Patterson & wife Betty of Fairborn, a daughter Myrna Young & husband Herman of West Carrollton, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 special nieces and 1 special nephew. She certainly has left a big void in all the hearts of those who knew and loved her so much. Heaven has now welcomed a beautiful new angel. Funeral services 3:30 P.M., Fri., March 11, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Rev. Glen Douglas officiating. Visitation will be from 2 - 3:30 P.M. prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services 11 A.M., Sat., March 12, 2005 at Barbourville Cemetery, Barbourville, KY.
