Ulys Wilder

Ulys K. Wilder, age 78, of New Carlisle, passed away June 12, 2021. He was born January 23, 1943 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Andy and Maggie Wilder. In addition to his parents, Ulys was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Ulys is survived by his wife of 58 years, Tina Wilder; 2 daughters: Beverly Wilder and Debbie Wilder & Terry; grandchildren: Gwen (Bub), Cristy and Nicolette (Charlie); 2 great-grandchildren: Hunter Dean and Charlotte Rose; son-in-law, Ricky Decker; brothers and sisters-in-law: Sam and Karen Diamond, Carol and Keith Gilley and Penny and Irv Sears; numerous nieces and nephews.

Ulys retired from Gypsum Interiors after more than 40 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending time fishing with his great-grandson, Hunter. Ulys also enjoyed supporting children with their animal projects in 4H.
