Ulrike "Ricky" Angelika Spears, age 57 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was born December 4, 1958 in Wesel, Germany to the late Walter and Irmgard Boehnke.
Ricky spent half of her life in Germany before moving to the states with her husband and children in 1989. She liked to enjoy life- traveling, riding motorcycles, shopping and collecting. She loved her cats and dogs and especially cherished spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her feisty personality and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Detlef and Kurt Boehnke and grandson, Gavin Spears. Ulrike will be missed by her loving husband of 40 years, Tom Spears; three sons, Thomas Spears, Mike (Jamie) Spears and Robin Spears; daughter, Danjela (Cameron) Spencer; grandchildren, Mitchell, Dyllan and Owen Spencer; Bradon, Landen and Mason Spears, with Carsen on the way; Dalton, Chloie and Quinn Spears; sisters, Sylvia (Gottfried) Hendrix and Marita (Peter) Bursch; brothers, Eckard Boehnke and Dietmar (Biggi) Boehnke; many nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers-in- law.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
