U.L. Young

YOUNG, U.L., age 73, of Riverside, passed away Wed., June 7, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 8, 1933 in Gainesboro, TN, the son of the late Edd T. & Stella Mai Young. U.L. retired from Harrison Radiator after 42 years of service. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Thomas and Willie Young. U.L. is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley; 1 son Mark D. Young of Dayton; 2 daughters Tammie Klopf (Robert) of Dayton and Kimberly Leis (John) of Union; 4 brothers Kenneth Young (Brenda) of Union, Roger Young of Moraine and Eddie Young (Linda) and Alvin Young both of Gainesboro, TN; 6 sisters Francis Wright (Estin) of MD, June Young and Mai Miller (Richard) both of Tipp City, Wanda Young of West Milton and Mary Richards and Linda Brown (Taylor) both of Gainesboro, TN and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services 10 A.M., Mon., June 12, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Rev. James Gifford officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Dayton in U.L.'s memory.
