Tyler J. Anders

ANDERS, Tyler J. 19, of Xenia, passed into eternal peace on Sunday, May 22, 2011. He was blessed to his parents, Rosanne and Mike Anders on November 7, 1991.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Caroline McManes and his uncles, Greg and Keith McManes.

Tyler is survived by his loving parents Rosanne Anders (Denny Penewit), and Mike Anders (Kelly); grandparents Thomas McManes, Jack and Irene Anders; sister, Brittany and bothers, Justin and Ben; his nephew Luke, who he loved "more than anything in the world"; his little cousin, Alexis, who held a special place in his heart; Aunts and Uncles: Douglas (Nancy) McManes of Norfolk, VA; Carolyn (Ron) Emmrich of Xenia, Dennis (Hannah) of Mason, Oh; Terrie McManes of Xenia; Cindy (Damon) Johncour of Wake Forest, NC; Jeff Anders of Xenia; many other relatives; and his friends, whom he thanked for "being there for me through all my struggles".

Tyler was a loving son, and a proud uncle who will be greatly missed. Tyler had a kind, trusting, and gentle soul that always saw the best in people. He was always willing to be a shoulder for others to lean upon in their times of need. Tyler enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, Nascar Racing, playing Xbox, and even through it was tough for him at times the Cincinnati Bengals.

A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday May 25, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 287 W. Main St., Xenia. Following the service family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life at Clifton Reserve & Lodge, 2762 South River Rd, Clifton, Ohio from 4 – 8 p.m. His ashes will be interred at a private service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention 120 Wall Street, 22nd Floor New York, NY 10005.

His mother hopes that the following prayer will bring comfort to family and friends: O God and Heavenly Father, Grant to us the serenity of mind to accept that which cannot be changed; courage to change that which can be changed, and wisdom to know the one from the other, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
