Trudy Rovaldi

ROVALDI, Trudy, age 80, of Beavercreek, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Rovaldi; siblings, Hans, Franz, and Hermine Köchl, and Maria Meinekat. Trudy is survived by her daughter, Lore (Ron) Chapman, and granddaughter, Katherine Chapman, as well as many other family members in Germany.

Trudy, also known as, Oma was an avid gardener, expert seamstress, and owner of Trudy's Bridal Shop. She touched the lives of many with her "Wunderbar!" German humor, wit, and determination.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Dayton National Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, as well as on Friday from 8:30 - 9:30 am at the funeral home prior to the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SICSA or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
