Trena Fern Clark, age 73, of Dayton, passed away July 22, 2014. She was born May 17, 1941, in Lee City, KY, to the late Paris and Emma Mae (Buchanan) Bradley. She graduated from Wolf County High School in 1958 and graduated from Winchester Beauty College after attending there for 2 years.
She is survived by her sister, Mildred Jones of Hamilton, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends. Fern was preceded in death by her husband James Earl Clark, whom she married on August 28, 1965; her parents; a brother, Douglas Bradley, and sisters, Bonnie Nickell, Margaret Brown, Betty Nickell, Jean Moehring, Naomi Nickell, Daphine Campbell, Sue Keihl, infant sister Patricia Bradley; and mother-in-law, Opal Patrick.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Clark Cemetery in Soldier, KY. Contributions may be made in Fern's memory to either the Lupus Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
