Tracy Lee Blunt, age 56 of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Grandview Hospital. She was born May 12, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ralph and Patricia Middlebrooks. She was a 1983 graduate of Meadowdale High School and went on to attend Carousel Cosmetology College.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Tina Middlebrooks and nephew, Kristopher Miller.
Tracy leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Michael; daughters, Kia (Jeremiah) Washington, Kristin Draper (Antwaun Brown) , Krystal Draper (Dejuane Yarbrough), and Tian (Sterling) Philson; grandchildren, Tayzhan Miles, Teon Miles, Aughn'ae Waggoner, Aidan Brown, London Washington, Aspen Brown, Kyndal Johnson, and Daija Greene; siblings, Ralph Middlebrooks Jr., Deborah (Darol) Smith, Tammy Miller, Trisha Pearson, and Toni Middlebrooks; sister-in-law, Paula (Michael) Willis; beloved dog, Zoey; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tracy was known for being a source of strength, love, and guidance to so many, especially her family. She was the glue that connected all of the dots and she meant the world to everyone around her. Tracy was a well-loved hairstylist in Dayton for over 30 years. She built many lifelong relationships with her colleagues who are also family now. No matter the day, time, or circumstance, Tracy had a way of making you feel warm and welcome always. Her strength was remarkable, her love was unmatched, and her guidance will forever be in our minds and hearts. To our loving Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister, Auntie and Friend; We Love You!
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (3375 W. Siebenthaler Ave. Dayton, OH 45406). Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Repast will be held directly after service at The Luxury Hall, 4642 Salem Ave. Dayton, OH 45416.
