July 9, 1970 — August 22, 2021

Tracey Eliane Smith, age 51, of Enon, died peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with diabetes Sunday August 22,21. Tracey was a beloved daughter, sister, Aunt, and friend. Despite her illness Tracey brought joy to those around her.

Tracey was born at Fort Wainewright Army hospital in Fairbanks Alaska but grew up in Dayton, Ohio and was a 1988 graduate of Walter E. Stebbins High School. She enjoyed working with her friends for 26 years working at Wonder Bread Bakery and her last few years at Speedway Corporation. Tracey was a member of the North Dayton Anglers Club and joy her time at the Clubs farm. She loved to reminisce about the fun times she had growing up riding dirt bikes with her cousins every summer and NASCAR trips with her father. Nothing could compare to her love of being "Aunt Sissy" to her nephew Colton. She spent many hours with her mother and sister supporting Colton at 4H, soccer and other sporting events. Tracey was avid Supporter of her father, stepmother, and stepbrother's racing adventures as part of the pit crew for them at Shady Bowl Speedway.

Tracey was proceeded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents: Ralph & Georgia (Baker) Smith, Sr., and Tracy & Gustan Tipton, uncles Elihu Tipton and David Smith and aunts, Joanne Smith, and Diane Dillow. Tracey leaves behind her father Gary Smith (Connie): her mother Inell Smith: sister Teri Smith; nephew, Colton Smith, Stepbrothers David Foor II and Shaun Foor; aunts: Linda Sexton, and Jessie Boekel; uncles: Ralph Smith, Jr. and Tracy Tipton Jr. as well as many cousins and extended family.

A celebration of life will take place at North Dayton Anglers 1924 Valley St, Dayton, Ohio Wednesday September 1, 2021 from 3-6 pm. Arrangements by Newcomer North Chapel 4104 Needmore Road.
