Trace Josiah Montgomery, 3 year old son of Edward Montgomery and Amy Colvin, passed away April 16, 2018. He was born on August 11, 2014 in Dayton, OH. Trace was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Tammy Sue Wallace.
He is survived by his loving parents; brothers, Tyler Williams and Eric Colvin; grandparents, Brenda & Gregory "Sundance" Colvin and Teresa & Edward "Juney" Montgomery; aunts, Tiffany Colvin, Amy Brackney, Ashley Wallace, Vanessa Montgomery, Honorary Grandma Cathy King, Gwendolyn "Shai" Barlow, Lisa Baker, Kim Highline, Janice (Bob) Ray, Melissa Colvin, Carmen Elizabeth, Edith Thilbeck and Ruth "Ruffie" Wallace; uncles, Gregory Colvin Jr., Joshua Colvin, Brandon Wallace, Daniel Wallace, Tim Wallace, Jaylaquan Scott, Quan "Bra Bra" Smith, Eric "Uncle Pone" Beasley, Chris King, Paul King, Little Danny Wallace, Little Brandon Wallace, Little Dwayne Wallace and Nick Wallace; special cousin, Raquel Montgomery, Robert "Bobby" Colvin, True Colvin, Gregory Colvin III and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
Trace was such a people person, he never met a stranger. His nighttime routine included watching Everybody Loves Raymond. Trace's favorite time of year, was Christmas with presents and Santa! He was known to pace back and forth while preaching the good word to all that would listen.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Temple, 1707 Ohmer St., Dayton, 45410 where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
