Tony Martin, age 54 of Dayton, passed away January 31, 2019. He was born July 8, 1964 in Dayton to the late John and Bessie (Wilson) Martin. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Martin; and sister, Carol Lanza.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Angie Martin; 2 sons, Paul (Julia) and Michael (Samantha); 2 daughters, Hope and Alaia; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Patty, Lana (David) and Sheila (Wayne); 17 nieces and nephews; 38 great nieces and nephews; cousins, Ronnie and Morris; numerous extended family and dear friends.
Tony worked for 22 years as a truck driver for various companies. He rooted for and enjoyed watching Philadelphia Eagles football and UK basketball. Tony was a FORD man! He was an avid fisherman and awesome mechanic. He was an awesome mechanic and avid fisherman. Tony was an amazing father.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 41041 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 12 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
