Morgan, Thomas Edward, age 29 of Brookville, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at approximately 9:20 AM at his job site. He was born Jan. 1, 1977 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Dayton, OH. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glenn "Sonny" Hill (who raised Tommy as his own son), his grandfather, Barney Joe Morgan, and an uncle, Barney Charles Morgan. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Amy Lynn (Vaughan) Morgan; two sons, Colton Edward Allen Morgan and Lance Thomas Morgan; a loving grandmother, Alene E. Hill (who raised Tommy as her own son) of Brookville; his mother, Marcella "Choo-Choo" Spratt and Danny of Hillsboro; brother, Jesse W. Morgan of Dayton; and sister, Angela Barrett of Dayton; four aunts, Cindy and Leonard McDaniel of Camden, Shonia Morgan of Brookville, Stella and Adrian Sellers of Dayton, Tonya G. Cole of Dayton, 2 nieces; 6 nephews; lifetime friends and Godparents to our beautiful children, Shane and Marsha Hall; and numerous other great aunts and uncles, cousins and too many beloved family members and friends to name. Tommy was a 1996 graduate from Brookville High School. During school he enjoyed racing for the US Cycling Federation where he achieved two District Championship Gold Medals. Tommy loved to spend time with his wife and boys. He enjoyed taking them boating, to King's Island, and his favorite vacation spot with them was Florida. Tommy was a heavy equipment operator. He was a faithful member to the Operating Engineers Local 18 where he had been recently initiated on the Advisory Board. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road. Dayton, OH. Friends may call on Sunday at the funeral home from 3-5 PM. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at Willow View Cemetery. Family and friends may meet at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 AM to join the funeral procession.
