Tommy Brest

Tommy Brest, age 69 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born September 21, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Joseph Sr. and Elizabeth "Joe & Betty" Brest.

Tommy was a loving brother, uncle and friend. He was a 1969 graduate of Wayne High School. He worked for over 40 years at Commercial Metal Fabricators along-side his brother, Sonny. He and Sonny were best friends and no-one has ever had a better brother. Tommy enjoyed animals, boating, motorcycles, snowmobiling and mostly enjoyed watching drag-racing. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and friendship. Tommy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his loving cats, Tater and Chip.

Tommy will be missed by his sister, Elizabeth "Betty-Jo" (Dick) Wallace; brother, Joseph "Sonny" (Sharon) Brest, Jr.; nieces, Carolyn (Osman) Wallace and Linda (Chris) Ratliff; great nephews, Ty Wallace, Porter Ratliff and Logan Ratliff; former wife of over 20 years, Barbara Fritz; and granddog, Lilly.

Family will receive friends Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton. Arrangements by Newcomer North Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tommy's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
