Tom Lee, Sr.

Thomas E. Lee, Sr. "T. Lee", age 81, of Dayton, passed away April 8, 2024. He was born December 25, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Hershell and Rosie Lee. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Thelma "Connie" Weeks.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Lee; son, Tom Lee, Jr. (Lisa); daughter, Shelly Williams (Rick "Al"); 5 grandchildren: Brittany, Tanner, Garrett (Sydney), Ricky Lee and Charlie; sister, Barbara Beyers; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special niece, Debbie Scott and her family.

Tom worked for General Motors for 36 years before his retirement in 1999. He loved motorcycles and hot rods and enjoyed riding his Harley. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed supporting his grandchildren in their sporting events and other activities. More than anything he loved spending time with his family. Our hearts ache in sadness. You will be loved, missed and in our hearts forever.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00-3:00 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where a memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Tom's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
