Todd James Mohler

Todd James Mohler "TJ", age 34 of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 9, 2019. He was born February 3, 1985 in Dayton to Scott and Christine Mohler. TJ was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ernest and Geraldine Mohler; maternal grandparents, James and Beverly Baker.

He is survived by his parents: Scott and Chris of Huber Heights, OH; brother: Tim (Samantha Nuss) Mohler of Huber Heights, OH; niece: Carleigh Ann; fiancé, Mindie Kerns of Huber Heights, OH; uncles: Robert (Roslyn) Mohler of Louisville, KY, James Baker of Punta Gorda, FL, Frank (Melesha) Baker of Port Charlotte, FL, Shawn (Sherry) Mohler of Wilmington, OH and John (Susan) Brunton of Bagdad, KY; aunt, Carol Ann (Rodney) Broughton of Merritt Island, FL; special aunt and uncle: Bonnie and Larry Crace of Punta Gorda, FL; cousins: Dustin James Baker of Dayton, OH, Courtney Sue Baker of Dayton, OH, Brandon Baker of Huber Heights, Maddie Baker of Port Charlotte, FL, Hannah (Brian) Laird of Fairborn, OH, Chelsea (Christian) Hansen of Fairborn, OH, Tom (Kinue) Brunton of Hampton, VA, Rodney Broughton of FL, Jenna Broughton of San Francisco, CA, Christopher Mohler of Germany, Karen (Jarrod) Dawson of White House, TN and Phoebe Dawson of White House, TN; his other mom: Lisa Nickell; special friends: Nick McGowan of Huber Heights, OH, Zach Troutman of Huber Heights, OH, Justin Welti of Huber Heights, OH, Rodney Lambert of Huber Heights, OH, Phillip Hammond of Piqua, OH, Dustin Clay of Riverside, OH, Frank Malone of Dayton, OH and please don't think you were not part of Todd's life if your name was not mentioned. You are all near and dear to his heart.

The family would like to express a sincere gratitude to Benny Mengs and his family for the love and support from all whom knew Todd and the warrior that he was. We will forever be grateful. A special thank you goes out to The Hospice of Dayton staff for their awesome care and support. A heartfelt thank you to the Childers and Swasey families for all the love and support they have provided. A big special thank you to Watsons of Dayton Family for all their compassion and help.

To our Mindie Dawn, we will forever be grateful for your love, compassion and care that you showed Todd through this journey. Our hearts are saddened that this journey has ended but you will always be a part of our family. We love you.

Family will receive guests from 9-11 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow at New Burlington Cemetery, New Burlington, OH.
