Todd Jergens, age 65, of Clayton, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at his home. He was born March 10, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Eugene and Charlotte Jergens.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Jergens, mother, Charlotte Jergens; brother, Nicholas Jergens; and love of his life, David Dotson.

Todd is survived by his six brothers, Christopher (Diane) Jergens, Mark (Mimi) Jergens, Daniel (Monica) Jergens, Bernard (Sharon) Jergens, and Benjamin (Patty) Jergens; and Eugene Jergens, Jr. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Todd was a dedicated nurse and beloved member of his community. Throughout his nursing career, Todd showcased not only his technical expertise but also a profound empathy that resonated with patients and their families. Colleagues recognized him for his willingness to lend a helping hand, often going above and beyond to ensure that those in his care received not only the best medical attention but also comfort and understanding during challenging times.

Outside of his professional life, Todd had a deep appreciation for nature. He embraced the great outdoors and was an avid bird watcher, spending countless hours exploring local parks and natural habitats. His passion for wildlife and the serenity of the outdoors brought him immense joy, and he cherished the moments spent observing and nurturing his connection to the environment.

Todd will be fondly remembered for the impact he made on the lives of so many.
