Toby Lee Foster; age 44 of Trotwood, passed away March 3, 2020. He was born July 3, 1975 in Dayton, Ohio. Toby was an extraordinary person who knew how to live each day to the fullest while encouraging others to do the same. He placed high value on his family and friends. He could make a friend out of any stranger and was always the life of every party. There was never a need for planning, he always dropped what he was doing to make time for anyone, anytime.
Toby was the #1 fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers but would never turn down friendly banter with any rivalry fans. Besides the host of friends in real life Toby also had an online world of friends through his playstation. He enjoyed playing call of duty and his favorite expression always was saying "remember the name Bigboykilla,IDW ". We will always remember his laugh, animated personality and his lively spirit. He will be deeply missed.
Toby was preceded in death by his grandfather, Louis Foster; and aunt, Theresa Foster-Houston. Toby is survived by his childhood friend & wife of 26 years, Melissa; son, Toby Jr; daughter, Alexus; special love for his grandmother, Elizabeth Foster; father, Billy Gates; mother, Tammy Foster; lifetime friends: Jeff Gerlach, Lamar Mckinney and Johnny Kenard; good friend, Tim Green; special love for his mother in law, Dulcene Gau; aunt, Tonya; uncles: Terry and Tony Foster; special cousins, Shalika Mack, David & Melva, Dontae & Eva, Davon, Quan and Terry; a host of many other loving family members to include aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 13th, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 14th. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Trotwood.
The family would like to special thanks to the ICU nurses at Miami Valley hospital for taking such wonderful care of Toby.
