T.J. Douglas

DOUGLAS, T.J., age 83, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, June P. Douglas; brothers, Clyde, Earl, and Paul Douglas; sisters, Mildred Guy, Julie, and Ruth Douglas. T.J. is survived by his daughters, Diane Mullins and Theresa Douglas-Baca; brother, William A. Douglas; granddaughter, Deanna Mullins; great granddaughter, Tessa Mullins-Troutman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Biloxi. T.J. was also a 32nd Degree Mason and served as a Deacon at East Dayton Baptist Church for many years. T.J. retired from General Motors after 46 years of service. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will be dearly missed. Funerals services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
