Tina Nokes, age 72 of Middletown and formerly of Kettering passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017.
She was born February 23, 1945 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Ernest & Edna Barlowe. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first daughter, Liescha Taylor and her grandma, Emma Taylor; siblings, Betty Kirby, Juanita Woods, Linda Caudill, Patricia Watts, Judy Carol, Regina Smith and James Barlowe.
Tina is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Bruce) Warren; granddaughter, Angel Williams; great-grandchildren, Landon Dougherty and Audrey Sesslar; siblings, William "Bill" (Susan) Barlowe, Lorraine "Bonnie" Hensley-whom she lived with for the last 25 years and Alice Long; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).The service will follow at 2pm. Tina will be laid to rest next to her daughter, Liescha, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
