Timothy T. Zeiher
March 26, 1952 — June 12, 2019
Tim Zeiher, 67, passed peacefully from this earth June 12th, 2019 in Hospice of Dayton. Tim resided in Springboro, OH with his wife of 30 years, Mary Zeiher. Tim was born March 26, 1952, in Newark, OH. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Seymour "Paps" Zeiher and Ethel Zeiher, and his parents Paul and Darlene Zeiher of Newark Ohio.
Tim graduated from Newark High School in 1970 and went into the Air Force, stationed in Japan at Misawa Air Force Base for four years. During that time Tim was married to Duanna Baker and welcomed his first son Jeremy Zeiher in 1972. Tim returned to the states in 1974 and started a long, successful career in Information Technology with a speciality in Telecommunications.
He met Mary Zeiher and they were married in April of 1989 and welcomed a son, Alex Zeiher in October 1989. Tim worked for many organizations in Columbus, Ohio and eventually owned his own Consulting business. He received news of a condition, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis in 1997 and this resulted in Tim receiving a successful liver transplant in 2003.
Tim was always fascinated by all types of history. He loved to read about it and watched many shows. He also had a passion for political debate that we all enjoyed. Tim loved to go out for coffee with his friends and did so multiple times a week.
Tim is survived by his wife Mary, his son Jeremy Zeiher (Molly Zeiher), his son Alex Zeiher (Harley Seavey), sister Kandy Petrovic and brother Robert Zeiher. Tim is also survived by his Uncle Bill Harper (Ruth Harper). Tim has four wonderful grandchildren Megan, Jonathan, Josie and Nova. He also had a Sister in Law, Melodie Bennett (Chris Bennett) and many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind an abundance of loving friends. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday the 21st at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) https://unos.org/give/ or to Hospice of Dayton https://www.hospiceofdayton.org/donations/
