Timothy Whitt

Timothy "Tim" Whitt, a beloved member of his family and community, passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 68, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 16, 1956, in Salyersville, Kentucky, Tim was a quiet and very private person whose life revolved around cherished moments with family and a few select interests.

Tim graduated from West Carrollton High School, Class of 1974, laying the foundation for a fulfilling career in truck driving, from which he later retired. Known for his calm demeanor and gentle spirit, he developed a reputation for being an unassuming yet devoted individual who valued his privacy.

In his leisure time, Tim found great joy in watching sports, dedicating countless hours to cheering for the University of Kentucky basketball team and the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. His love for NASCAR also brought him enjoyment, as he appreciated the thrill and excitement of the races.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Buel and Bessie Whitt, as well as his brothers, Samuel Whitt, Daniel Whitt, and Hershel Salyers. He leaves behind a family that deeply cherished him, including his siblings: Carrol Powers, Jimmie (Annette) Salyer, Sandy Howard, and Mark Whitt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember him fondly.

As we reflect on Tim's life, we celebrate the quiet strength he embodied, the love he shared with his family, and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
