Timothy L. Rumer "Tim", age 52 of Dayton, passed away May 15, 2017. He was born April 9, 1965 in Dayton to his mother, Betty Massingale and his late father, Arthur Carlson. In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary and Walter Rumer; aunts, Darlene and Madge; uncle, Terry.
He is survived by his son, Zachery Rumer; mother, Betty (Les) Massingale; brother, Charles (Terri) Rumer; aunts, Delores (Gordon) Stowe and Dottie Musselman; uncle, Gary Rumer; aunt, Vera (Keith) Gray; special friends, Anthony DeSalvo and Robert Penn; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
Tim worked as a finish carpenter in the Dayton area. He loved music, animals and helping out others even if he didn't know them.
Family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Animal Resource Center on Webster St., in Tim's memory.
