Timothy Michael Smith

SMITH, Timothy M., age 50, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at his home. He is preceded in death by his great niece, Taiya Ann McCray. Timothy is survived by his parents, Isam and Ruby Smith; siblings, Donnie Smith, Sr., Stephen Douglas (Heather) Smith, and Michelle Lynn (Jim) Carlson; nieces, Kimberly Ann (James) McCray and Emma Lee Carlson; nephew, DJ Smith; great nephew, Ty Alexander McCray; uncle Burton Smith, as well as numerous other uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends, especially, Mary Buhl. Timothy was an abstract artist and had a child-like nature. He was a loving son and brother, whom will be dearly missed by his family. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 3, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AIDS Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
