Timmy R. Searcy, age 70 of Fairborn, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 15, 1948 in Harlan County, Kentucky, the son of the late James and Polly Sircy.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Irma Searcy; 6 brothers and 7 sisters.
Timmy is survived by his daughter, Angela Wood; son, Robert Mattei; sister, Dolly German; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends, including his "favorite daughter," Lesley Adkins.
Timmy retired from Flowserve Corporation (formally Duriron) in Dayton, OH after 37 years of employment. He was a long-time member of the Fairborn Moose Lodge #1068 and will be missed by many members and friends. He enjoyed bowling, spending weekends at the river with his family and friends, catching up with his sister, Dolly, at Bob Evans on the weekends, but above all else, he loved dancing with his wife.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
