Tim D. Keefe, age 67, of Dayton, passed away July 17, 2018. Tim was born on May 22, 1951 to the late Jack D. & Elizabeth J. Keefe.
Tim graduated with the West Carrollton High School class of 1969. He then went on to achieve a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Miami University. After 30 years, Tim retired from the City of Dayton Planning Department as a Graphics Designer.
Tim was a member of the Local VFW Post 3438, Miamisburg Moose Lodge 1645, and the Dayton Gym Club.
Tim collected albums, singles, and other memorabilia and some would say he was a connoisseur of rock n' roll music. On any given day he could be found listening to his favorite musicians like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc.
At the young age of 59, he decided to settle down and marry for the first time. Tim and Nancy were married on March 26, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy M. Keefe and her children, Kelly T. (Dave) Clements, Elijah D. (Jaimie) Putnam; grandchildren, David and Katy Clements, and Janna Putnam; brothers, Michael C. (Sherry) Keefe and John W. (Donna) Keefe; sister, Jacklyn A. (Ricky) Flynn; nieces, Shannon K. Huffman and Sarah E. Miracle; nephews, Douglas J. Keefe, Mark Keefe and Jason Keefe; other relatives and many special friends-including, Dee & Vicki Houser.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 12-2pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 2pm. Tim will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
