Thomas "Tom" Brown

Thomas “Tom” Brown, age 77, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. 

He was born in Crossville, TN to the late James Garfield & Ella Brown. 

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife and soulmate, Sharlette “Mommy” Brown; son, Michael Dale Brown; and sister, Christine Giles-Cox. 

Tom is survived by his brother, James (Gail) Brown; nieces, Christina, Crystal, and Tammy; nephews, Adam and David; great-nieces, Sasha, J’ana, Jamey, and AnnaMarie; great-nephews, Christopher and James; grandchildren, Michelle and Jasmine; and many other relatives and friends. 

Tom served his country in the U.S. Army as an airplane mechanic during the Vietnam War. He loved spending time outdoors on the pontoon and ATV. Tom will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A Celebration of Life will take place from 4:30pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 2670 Merrill Road, Dayton, OH 45414.
