Thomas M. Smyczek

Thomas M. Smyczek "Tom", age 65 of Moraine, passed away October 4, 2023. He was born March 25, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Martin and Joan (Kuzma) Smyczek. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother Chris Smyczek; close friends, Greg Fiske and Bruce Foust.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Smyczek; children, Brandon (Marissa) Smyczek and Noelle (Damon) Hahn; step-children, Bryan (Chris) Hoi-Lapp and Kristen Lapp; grandchildren, Kylan, Kiyla, Emmalyn, Lincoln, Sydney and Brynlee; great-grandson, Vincent; sisters, Karen (Ken) Watkins, Marianne (Gary) Colbert; brother John (Patty) Smyczek and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Tom loved and enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, cruising on his Harley and sharing Crown Royal with his friends. He cherished spending time with his pit bull, Ace. Tom may have enjoyed the fun he had with family and friends but his love for his grandchildren was exceptional.

Family will receive guests from 5-6 pm on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 6 pm.
