Thomas Singleton, age 93, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on April 24, 2024. He was born on February 8, 1931 in Tazewell, Tennessee to his mother Topsy (Singleton) Collins and raised by his beloved Granny Singleton on the family farm. He met the love of his life, Jessie (West) Singleton while working as a milk truck driver. They were married in 1954 and moved to West Carrollton, Ohio in 1955 where he started working at Miami Paper. Thomas retired from the paper mill in 1990 after working there 35 years. Thomas loved his family dearly and cherished his church families at the West Carrollton Church of God, House of Prayer and West Carrollton Nazarene.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Jessie Singleton; children, Brenda Greene, Sue Jones, Tommy (Jodi Driver) Singleton, Scott (Kris) Singleton; nine grandkids, Chuck (Judy) Chaffin, Bodie (Sarah Davidson) Jones, Billy Chaffin, Carla Mullins, Jeremy Singleton, Jacob Wysong, Trey Singleton, Emily Wysong, Ashten Driver; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Polly Hammond, Ruby Faulkner, Joanne Collins, Marjorie Baker; brothers, Clarence (Jim) Collins, Archie Collins, Stanley Collins, Willie Smith and special nieces, Faye Gilliam and Karen Singleton.
Thomas is preceded in death by his mother, Topsy Collins; beloved granny, Mary Singleton; sisters, Tyke Jones, Marie Lane and brother, Rocky Collins.
The family is deeply grateful for the kind and loving care provided by Ohio's Hospice of Dayton in his final days.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024 at West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene, 550 S. Elm Street. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Avenue.
