Thomas Ryan, age 74, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away October 3, 2024. He was born July 21, 1950, to the late Frank and Mary Louise (Heuker) Ryan. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Pat Ryan in 2020. Tom was a 1968 graduate of Carroll High School and was the first of 3 generations of Ryan’s to graduate from there.
Tom is survived by his three children, Bill (Cindy) of Beavercreek, TJ of Dayton and Tracy (Steve) Fry of Saint Mary’s. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, Natalie, Adrianna and Sophia Ryan; his two grandsons, Christian and Ryder Fry; his sister, Chris Demick; his two nephews, Eric (Angela) Demick and Patrick (Ellen) Demick; and his great niece, Evelyn Demick.
After a stint in the US Army after High School, Tom retired after 30 years from the US Post Office, in the Downtown Branch, where he worked as a Mail Handler. He was an avid Wright State Baseball fan, where he made numerous friends with the coaching staff and players throughout the years.
There will be a Private Family service with inurnment at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
