Thomas Miles Pridmore, Jr.

Thomas Miles Pridmore, Jr., of Dayton, Ohio, walked into the arms of Jesus on August 23, 2023. He was born in Dayton on May 12, 1955 to the late Shirley Humerick McDonald. In addition to his mother, Tom was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur "Mac" McDonald; and sister, Donna Wooten.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Diane Pridmore; children: Aaron (Jen) Chaney and April (Bryan) Davidson; grandchildren: Emma Chaney, Stanton Davidson, and Maylin Davidson; siblings: Sandy (Dennis) Toomey and Susie Thuma; and many loved nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Tom was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved the Lord and had a strong faith. Tom enjoyed oil painting and woodworking, thus creating many beautiful pieces. He loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. Tom was very giving and had an amazing heart. Tom's wife, children, and family considered it a blessing to be a part of his life and his absence will be deeply felt by all. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Tom was a Veteran, having served as Military Police in the Army. He considered it a true honor and was humbled when anyone would thank him for his service.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date to honor the incredible man that he was.
