Thomas Anthony Osmanski, age 61 of Xenia, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in his home. He was born June 21, 1956 in Quincy, MA, the son of Albert and Jean (Linnen) Osmanski. Oz married the love of his life, Hilda Mills, on November 21, 1976 in Rockland, MA.
A graduate of Rockland High School in Massachusetts, Oz was a proud Marine who served his country with honor during the Vietnam Era. He had a passion for photography, sports statistics, and loved his fur babies - Sophie, Abby, Morty, Belle and Levi. Oz was a hilarious father with a great sense of humor in any situation. He was a father figure to more than just his son and daughter. Oz was tremendously proud of his niece, Lieutenant Junior Grade Katie Mills, of the United States Navy. He was kind, soft spoken and fair to all who knew him. Oz loved his family dearly, especially his wife of 41 years, his children and his grandsons, and will be greatly missed by all.
Oz is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife Hilda; his children, Hilda Jean (Justin) Shirley and Bill Osmanski; his two energetic and loving grandsons, Derrick and Gavin; two brothers, Mike and Albert Osmanski; his many nephews and nieces, especially his nephews Alex and Max Osmanski and his goddaughter Liz Mills; and other numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and grandmother - "Chick the Butcher".

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on August 2, 2017 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1440 North Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432 at 10:00 am. A visitation will be held the evening before from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432.
