Thomas M. Shea
November 24, 1940 — July 10, 2012
Thomas M. "Tomnator" Shea, age 71, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Riley Shea; parents, John and Margaret Shea; and brother, James Shea.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Kelli (Steve) Holmes; much loved grandsons, Dylan and Dustin Holmes; brothers, Jack (Arlene) Shea and Eric (Carol) Shea; and many other relatives, friends and beloved pets.
Tom enjoyed working; he retired 3 times from various occupations. He loved boating and making trips to Lake Cumberland. Tom liked nothing better than a good time with his many friends. He had a generous and loving heart. He will be greatly missed as a papa, dad and friend.
Donations may be made in Tom's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Humane Society.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 16, 2012 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A Mass will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception (2300 South Smithville Road Dayton, OH 45420)
