Thomas Mckee Kohnle

Thomas McKee Kohnle, 69, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on April 17, 2018. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Kohnle and brother, James Kohnle.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon (Schaufuss) Kohnle; beloved dogs, "Dewey" and "Trix"; brothers, Robert, John, and Brian Kohnle; sisters, Nancy Nodler, Susanne (Jay) Thompson, Kristen Kohnle, and Brandi (Mark) Schuermann.
He was a 1967 graduate of Centerville High School, served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Owned Golden Rod Music, founding member of Lee & Schaefer Realtors and independent insurance agent since 1981. Loved all sports, especially NASCAR. Tom was a 57 year member of First Baptist Church of Dayton, proud of his family's heritage in Dayton with Monarch Marking Systems, and father's founding of Discover Classical, WDPR 88.1.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Dayton, 111 W. Monument, Rev. David Coggins officiating. Private interment at Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to DiscoverClassical.org, puppypalsrescue.com, or First Baptist Church.
