Thomas Kiser

Thomas "Tom" Kiser, age 80, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away at 11:39 AM on September 25, 2022 at Kettering Hospital after battling a short illness. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on December 7, 1941 to the late Attorney Strother Kiser and Naomi Kiser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David Kiser.

Tom was a retired professor of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati. He was a man of small stature but had a huge personality and a kind heart. He had a small circle of friends that included his beloved caretaker Cathy, Daniel, Brian, and Bob. He loved all sports, especially golf and tennis. Tom enjoyed watching mystery movies, dateline, and 48 hours. He was very strong and full of energy and loved doing push ups, even at 80 years old. He enjoyed a very healthy lifestyle eating cereal, oatmeal, and cheese cake factory rolls everyday. Tom was a great admirer of women and often flirtatious. He was a very unique person who liked to analyze people, and once you met him you would never forget him. Tom was a very sweet man who was very loved and will be greatly missed.

The family hopes those who would like to honor Tom will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial.
