Thomas J. "Tom" Kover
Age 75, of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2007, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas William & Mary Esther Kover and by one sister, Beatrice Brown.
Tom is survived by his wife of the past 38 years, Arline M. (Arne) Kover; two children, David & Crystal Kover and Cathy Kover; one step-son, Richard & Jill Knowles; seven grandchildren, Kristy, David Jr., Kelly, Kristin, Jonathon, Michael, & Rachael; five brothers & sisters, John & Malita Kover, Charles & Ruth Kover, Manuel & Justine Kover, Margaret Varga and Cleasta Pappas; and by numerous other family members and friends.
Tom was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of VFW Post # 3283 and retired with 30 years of service with Waste Management.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. The family will be receiving friends following the service from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
