Thomas D. "Tom" Hanson, age 77 of Xenia passed away November 5, 2019.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on November 3, 1942 to the late Harold and Edna Faye Hanson.
Tom was an Ohio State Buckeyes fanatic, loved animals and especially enjoyed his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Hanson in 2007.
Tom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patti (whom he met in 7'th grade); twin daughters Tonya (Mike Phipps) Hanson and Tammy (Josh) Blackburn; son Ronnie (Joni) Hanson; grandchildren Jessica, Tiffany, Amber, Emily, Thomas and Cody; 7 great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends who were blessed to know Tom.
Family and friends will visit from 3-5:00 pm on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. A Celebration of Tom's Life will follow at 5:00 pm.
If desired, donations made be made to the Humane Society of Greene County in Tom's honor.
