HAHN, Thomas, age 93, of St. Paris, OH, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010. He was born April 4, 1916 in St. Paris, OH, the son of Wilbur D. and Gladys (Taylor) Hahn. He owned and operated Tommy Hahn's Shoes in St. Paris for 42 years. He was known as a meticulous and ingenious shoe repairman and a customer friendly shoe salesman as well as a wonderful story teller and local historian. His was a life enriched by growing up, living, and working in the town he loved. Although, he spent nearly all his life in St. Paris, his final two years were spent with his daughter in Centerville. He is survived by his children, Melissa (David) Lush, of Centerville, Ohio and Joe (Marcella) Hahn of Piqua, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Sandy Hahn of Lynchburg, Virginia; grandchildren, Todd Hahn, Stephanie Blommel, Terry Hahn, Michael Hahn, and Casey Hahn; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Caroline, and Jack Blommel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elleen Hahn; second wife, Agatha Curtner Hahn; son, Randy Hahn; grandson, Rob Lush; sister, Lavada Rickey. A memorial service will be held on Sun, March 21, 2010 at 2:00 at The First Baptist Church, St. Paris, Ohio. The family would like to thank The Hospice of Dayton for their exceptional and gentle care of our father. We would specifically like to thank, Andrea, Meleaia Katherine, Kathleen, Sharon, Yolanda and Larry Lawhorne M.D. for their incomparable attention and kindness.
