Thomas Martin Garver, born in Dayton, Ohio on September, 27th 1950, passed away on January 23rd, 2025 at age 74 in Louisville, Kentucky. Tom had lived the past few years in the small town of Vevay, Indiana to be closer to his son, Brian. Tom attended Stivers High School in Dayton and earned an associate degree in communications from Sinclair Community College. He held various jobs doing work that required knowledge of electricity, mechanics, math and physics. Two of his employers included General Motors and University of Dayton. Tom worked on cars for most of his life and was self-taught. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and hiking, as well as playing the keyboard. He was also a big fan of Ohio State, and watched many football games with his son-in-law, Jerry and daughter, Jeanette. He especially loved and enjoyed his only grandchild, Ariel, who he was able to enjoy for three years before his passing. He stayed friends with his ex-wife, Pam and helped work on her cars when she needed it. His youngest daughter, Lisa often helped him when he came to fix things around the house or when furniture needed to be moved. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester Garver and Geneva (Leonard) Garver, brothers Dick, Terry and Ted, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. 

 He is survived by his ex-wife, Pamela Garver, children Brian Garver, Jeanette (Jerry) Asbury and Lisa Garver, granddaughter Ariel Asbury, sister Bonnie (Frank Rohrer) Blazek, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
