Thomas Edward Creeger, 63, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly, June 26, 2014 in his home. He was born September 19, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Charlotte (Cartmell) Creeger.
Tom attended Fairmont High School. He is a decorated Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps who served in Vietnam. Tom proudly served at 8th and I Marine Barracks in Washington D.C.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Xenia and a founding member of the Auto Club, C.A.R.B.S. Tom was also a member of Chapter 97 Vietnam Veterans Association. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Jerry A. Creeger.
Tom is survived by his wife of 34 years, Christina J. Creeger; children, Lawrence Silva, Thomas (Laura) Creeger Jr.; grandchildren, Lillian Mae and Aiden Thomas Creeger, Annaliese Silva; nephew, Jason (Elaine) Creeger; great niece, Danica Renee Creeger; niece Eileen (Steven) Woyen; great nephews, Jake and Marty; nieces, Chrissy Snyder and Janette Creeger Lange; and many good friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton where funeral services will begin at 4 PM Wednesday. Tom will be buried at the Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
