Thomas J Dieterle, age 88 of Kettering, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Heartland of Centerville. He was born September 23, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Harry and Gladys Dieterle.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gerald Dieterle.
He loved spending time with family and enjoyed baseball, camping, and sport activities with his children and grandchildren. Tom and Barb were very active in local, State and National square dancing activities as officers of the Super B's. He held memberships in the Milton Athletic Club, North Dayton Anglers and local American Legion.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict.
Thomas is survived by his wife of over sixty-six years, Barbara; sons, Thomas J Dieterle, David J (Susan) Dieterle, Bryan L (Mary) Dieterle; daughter, Carla A (Anthony) Amburgey; grandchildren, Chris, Kevin, Kyle, Courtney, Brock, Morgan and Kayla; great grandchildren, Felicity, Abram, Josephine and Elizabell.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 . Visitation Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of service. Interment Miami Valley Memorial Garden.
