Thomas E. Derringer, age 90, of Dayton, passed away March 5, 2022.
He was born December 6, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ralph and Freda (Stuhlemmer) Derringer. Tom was a proud Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He worked at the Burger Iron Co. for over 30 years where he also served as Chief Steward for a number of those years.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his young son Tommy Derringer and brother Bob Derringer.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Reda Derringer; his daughter Lori Wright; granddaughter Valerie Wright; great-grandson Jackson Thomas Johnson; his sister-in-law Patricia Underwood, and numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
Tom enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved fishing and enjoyed going to the races. Tom's family was most important to him, they loved him deeply and will miss him greatly.
