Thomas R. D'Amico

Thomas R. D'Amico, age 83, of Dayton, passed away on May 12, 2023. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on December 23, 1939, the son of the late Michael and Francis D'Amico.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Michelle Goodman; his sister, SND Mary D'Amico; and brother, Nicholas D'Amico.

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Sandra "Sandy" D'Amico; sons, Steven (Pamela) D'Amico and Michael (Amy) D'Amico; grandchildren, Nicole, Kristina, Anna, Anthony and Matthew; great grandchildren, Jaykob and Sofia; brother, Michael "Mick" D'Amico; nieces and nephews, Joe, Nick, Dave, Debbie, Gina, Michael and Andrea; and many other loving family and friends.

Throughout his work experience, he worked for NCR, DoAll and Sinclair Community College. He was a member of Milton Athletic Club for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, camping, cooking and spending time with his family. He was a very kind soul, who put everyone else's needs above his own. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-6:00pm, on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where a Celebration of Thomas' Life will begin at 6:00pm.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Dayton and SOIN Medical Center for the wonderful care given to him and to his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
