Thomas Cook "Tommy", age 54 of Dayton, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 5, 1969 in Kettering, Ohio to the late Joel Cook and Betty Moore. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Chris Mills and twin-brother, Todd Cook.
Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Julie Cook; Julie's daughter, Cassie (Devin) Davis; the Davis children, Carter and Lexi; Julie's son, Justin Henderson including Heather Peyton and her children, Kersten, Kailum, and Aaliyah; step-father, Paul Moore Jr.; and half-brother, Mike (Cynthia) Mills. He is also survived by numerous family and friends who love him dearly.
He graduated from Oakwood High School and later attended college in Florida. Tommy was employed by Matt Castrucci Auto Mall, Troy Country Club, Summit Industrial Flooring, and Quick Saw Incorporated. He was an avid golfer and proud member of The Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA). Tommy also enjoyed fishing, lawncare, and traveling with Julie. He is well loved and will be deeply missed.
The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to enjoy a day at the golf course or a family fishing trip.
