Thomas H. Christopher, age 84, of New Carlisle, passed away on January 9, 2022. He was born in Everett, Pennsylvania on August 18, 1937 to the late Thomas A. and Kathryn Christopher.
After graduating from high school, he served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force. After completing basic training, he was stationed in Amarillo, Texas to become an aircraft mechanic. He was then stationed for four years at Larson Air Force Base in Washington. While he was home on leave, he met the love of his life, Janet. They married on June 21, 1959 and started their family together. He retired from the James River Corporation after working there for 34 years.
He loved fishing, visiting the Air Force Museum, watching the planes take off and land at Wright Patt Air Force Base, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to the AMVETs and spending time with his dog, Charlie. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of almost 50 years, Janet Christopher, his son, Randall, brother, George, sister, Anna Mae, and his grandson, Kevin.
Tom's memory will be cherished by his children: Tracey (Richard) Marsiglia, Scott Christopher, Terry (Lily) Christopher, Steven (Tammy) Christopher, and Kellie Christopher; grandchildren: Terry Jr., Michael, Daniel, Matthew, Dylan, Courtney, and Laken; great-grandchildren: Devin, Kiersten, Jackson, and Selena "Daisy"; brothers: Ronnie and Ralph; sister: Shirley, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date.
