Thomas Michael "Tiny" Cameron, age 62 of Dayton, passed away July 2, 2018. He was born July 12, 1955 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Mickey and Thelma. He was later adopted by James Cameron, who also preceded him in death. Tom was also preceded in death by his beloved dog, Spirit.
Tom is survived by his wife, Joyce; children: Thomas (Brandy) Cameron, Jr. of Bascom, Tiffany (Pete) Roberts of Australia and Kelly (William) Phillips of Dayton; 6 grandchildren: Ivana Jean, Austin Michael, Chase O'Neal, Marissa, Kayden and Izza'Bell; sister: Mary Cameron; brothers: Chris (Lynette) Cameron, Tim Cameron, Kandy Matthew (Liz) Cameron and Robert Cameron; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends: Dave and Jennifer Surbaugh and their kids: Davinia, Katlynn and Connie & Marcella and Bobby Hurt.
Tom graduated from Old Fort High School in Old Fort, Ohio in 1972. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army; retired from J.G. Casting in Delaware, Ohio; was an avid softball player and fisherman; a member of the Alco-aides Club for the last 28 years and sponsored numerous people during that time. He was also a member of the Sons of God Motorcycle Club.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Dayton National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Tom's memory to any charity of your choice.
