Thomas Burkhardt

BURKHARDT, Thomas J., passed away at his residence Saturday, March 13, 2010. T.J. was a resident of Moraine, OH, and a former resident of Middletown, OH. He was born May 8, 1940 in Middletown, OH. He was retired from General Motors after 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac and Bessie Burkhardt, brothers, James, Frank and Edward Burkhardt. He leaves to cherish his loving wife of 40 years Patsy S. Burkhardt (Coffee), sons, James D. Burkhardt (wife Brenda) of Middletown, OH, Johnny S. Burkhardt (wife Allison) of Corbin, KY and Timothy Burkhardt of CA, daughters, Pamela Burkhardt of Moraine, OH and Lynn Mata of CA, brothers, James Roberts of ID, Johnny Wyatt of VA, Elmer Burkhardt of Carlisle, Millard Burkhardt of Middletown, sister, Barbara-Jean Barnett of CA and Deanna-Jane Burkhardt, eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, many nieces and nephews and many friends. Family will receive guests Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). Funeral service will be held Friday, March 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM also at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Larry Whitt officiating. He will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery.
