Thomas W. "Bill" Acton, age 73 of Dayton, passed away July 2, 2014. He was born August 26, 1940 in Dayton to the late Tom and Mary (Kessler) Acton.
Bill is survived by his children: Tony (Pat) Acton and Carol (Matt) Gottschall; grandchildren: Zach, Maggie, Sarah and Luke; sister, Ann (Phil) Leever; niece, Amy (Brian) Harper and their daughter, great niece, Annabelle.
Bill graduated from Chaminade High School in 1958, served in the Air National Guard in the 1960's, was a member of Dayton Masonic Lodge 147 and a Shriner.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Royal Oaks Memorial Gardens, Brookville, with visitation beginning at 10:30 am.
