Voge, Thomas Allen Sr., age 79, of Riverside, died at Hospice of Dayton on January 18, 2013. Tom was born July 31, 1933 to Stanley and Mary Voge in Dayton, Ohio. On January 14, 1956 he married Jacqueline Maus. Tom was a graduate of Kiser High School and Miami Jacobs College. Tom was a Cryptographer in the U.S. Army and worked as an Accountant and then Computer Programmer and Systems Analyst. He retired in 1993 from Physician's Billing.
Tom was a member of the Gospel Training and Outreach Center of Fairborn. He was smart, patient, loving and kind and had a great sense of humor.
Tom is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline; children, Steven (Cathy) Voge and Teresa (Jimmy) Collins; brother, Robert (Sharon) Voge; grandchildren, Danielle (Adam) Lawson, Erin (Jason) Boettcher, Robert Deaton, Susan Deaton, Melanie (Adam) Reid, Melissa Deaton, David Voge and Maggie Collins; great grandchildren, Jaydon, Andi, Christopher, Alice, Norah and Ava. All of Tom's grandsons and great-grandsons are honored with the middle name of Thomas. Tom was preceded in death by a son; Thomas Jr., his parents; and siblings, Janet Wacker , Fred Voge, Richard Voge and Juanita Lockhart.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton on Wednesday, January 23. Pastor William McFarland officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. with services to follow at 3:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to G.T.O.C. Church, 31 N. 1st St., Fairborn, for a meal and fellowship following the service.
